Despite the negative thoughts that try to hold me back, I am a boudoir photographer who is determined to help women feel beautiful and confident by overcoming past traumas and learning how to effectively love themselves for everything they are.

We’ve all had those negative thoughts that try to hold us back from achieving our dreams. But for me, a boudoir photographer based in the Wichita, Ks area, I decided to turn those thoughts and memories of abuse into something positive by helping other women feel beautiful and confident through photography.

I realized my passion for photography early on in life with the help of foster care (you could find me in the dark room at East High) and I have been exploring it ever since. After exploring different genres of photography, I found my love for capturing boudoir photos 7 years ago. I quickly realized that this was the perfect way to showcase a woman’s beauty by highlighting their individual features in a way that felt empowering. That’s why I decided to focus solely on boudoir photography and I haven’t looked back since.

For me it is more about seeing yourself through someone else’s loving eyes then it is the sexy side, for so long I saw myself through the eyes of someone who wanted to control me, hurt me, and use my beauty to his advantage by making me feel weak. I remember the day my vision changed and it was not until I 100000000% loved myself first that I could find real love in someone else.

I believe that my job is more than just taking pictures; it’s about creating an experience where women can explore their own self-confidence and learn to love themselves again without any judgement or negativity. Each session is tailored specifically for each client so they feel comfortable and relaxed while having fun with the shoot. I also offer styling assistance so each woman looks and feels like the best version of themselves in front of the camera.

I know firsthand how difficult it can be to get rid of negative thoughts and gain confidence — but I also know the power of self-love, which is why I want every woman who comes into my studio to walk away feeling better about themselves than when they walked in. I believe that everyone deserves to feel beautiful and confident, regardless of what society tells us we should look like or how we should act. To me, everyone has something special about them worth celebrating — and that’s exactly what I hope to capture with my photographs: beauty in its rawest form.
